I want a nice retirement home. None of this back-alley nursing home business for me.

Plus they wouldn't have worked well for blackmail photos.

I used to take them to prove to people that I do in fact bathe the kid. She's a dirt magnet.

Well actually I crunched some numbers a few years ago. I plan on retiring to cruise ships. They're actually cheaper than a nursing home and I have all the same amenities, if not better ones. Plus I get to travel.

If I retire to a cruise ship, I have someone to wait on me, and clean up after me, and buffets and 24/7 medical attention.

Yup. Plus between the senior discounts and the Pre-booking discounts and all the other discounts, it really shouldn't be that bad. I just can't have a lot of room. And if I hate my neighbors, I only have to wait a few days and I get new ones. I'm still trying to decide if the consistently sporadic communication would be a plus or a minus.
