The site imploded on itself while I was at Barkatraz in 2009, and it took me nearly a year to get it somewhat back on its feet. I haven't kept up with it like I used to-- been concentrating on the written aspects of the site more than the cartooning. I'd like to blame my 4 year old for that in that I cannot have a sharpie in the house without her taking it and using it for her own artwork (mostly on paper), which always ends up with a useless marker. Maybe I should teach her to put the cap back on... someday. I keep telling myself that I'll get to drawin'... then I get to writin...' or somethin' 'round the house. Life was easier once upon a time... not necessarily better, but easier.

I've got ideas, now I just needs to finds the times....

I understand. I've got a baby on the way and I wonder what will become of my drawing when that happens. I may try to make my office a no-baby zone... but I know they are tenacious and clever little people.

Once they're in your life, there's no such thing anymore. That's why child-proof locks were invented, it holds them off for maybe 5 minutes until they figure it out.

what's the point if they figure it out in five minutes?
